what to expect

For the next five months, I will be living and studying in Rome, Berlin and London. Studying abroad is something that I was eagerly looking forward to in college and had a tough time choosing where to study. I ended up finding a program that would allow me to live for six weeks in three different countries. This gives me the chance to experience three distinct cultures, while being there long enough to comprehend the intricacies of each city. I will be taking some classes towards my majors (which are Political Science and Economics), but I am also taking classes that I would not have the opportunity to take at Bucknell, like International Journalism.
While I am excited about this experience, I am nervous too. I speak very little Italian and absolutely no German, so that will be a learning curve. A bigger concern of mine is fitting everything into one checked luggage and one carry-on. My very caring father purchased me for a luggage scale since he is more worried about the overweight baggage fees than me living without some particular piece of clothing that will make or break my abroad wardrobe.
I'm going to use this to keep people up to date with what I am up to. Fingers crossed, I will be updating it weekly...but who knows how that will go. If you have any suggestions on places to go in these cities or places to go please reach out to me!!! :) Also if  you know of anyone that lives in any of these places and would be willing to get coffee or give me local recommendations, I would be very appreciative.
